Rachael Leahcar is one of The Voice's four finalists of 2012. She began singing at an early ageof nine, spending a lot of her childhood singing in Italian as a result of spending time with her Italian grandparents. Rachael can sing in Italian, French and Spanish. She can also play the piano, flute and has sung in multiple choirs. In 2009, Rachael won a singing competition on "RAI Uno" television in Rome and has been doing semi-professional gigs over the past two years for festivals, weddings and charities. Rachael has always had music around her growing up as a child and found she related to music because she is 90% legally blind. Inspired by Adele, she would love to inspire people the same way and bring joy and happiness to them by her music. Rachael wants to show everyone that she's capable of doing anything she wants in life.

Rachael auditioned for the voice, her audition song was "La Vie En Rose" bringing Delta to tears she was the second to turn her chair. Then all Coaches turned around, at the end of the song Rachael picked Delta as her Coach. Leahcar posted a message of thanks on her official Twitter page, saying: "I laughed, I cried, I answered questions and I followed back... I read every single tweet because they were ALL amazing, and i am TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by all the support and beautiful, kind words from EVERYBODY!" Delta said: "Rachael is an extraordinary human being who has a very unique talent - her voice. Her voice left me no other choice but to turn my chair." Rachael then moved onto the first live round! She was picked by the public to stay in the competition. Rachael ended up coming 3rd in the Voice.
