Chita Henneberry is a singer from Sydney, New South Wales, she is a current contestant on The Voice Australia.
32-year-old singer-songwriter Chita Henneberry’s singing career has seen her tour as a backup vocalist across America with ex-En Vogue singer Dawn Robinson, and The Voice Kid’s very own Delta Goodrem on her Australian Visualise Tour.
Originally from the island nation of Mauritius, she moved to Australia with her family at the age of five and says listening to music and writing down the lyrics helped her bridge the cultural gap and learn English. Chita has burning aspirations to follow her dream and pursue a successful fulltime career in music.
Chita auditioned for The Voice with a performance of I Want You Back by the Jackson 5 which had the judges dancing in their seats. Chita turned to chairs and eventually decided to make Will.i.am her coach.
